Also want to add that during the lower levels, I think 15-20 or something like that, there's an alchemy levequest that wants Ethers. You can buy those in unlimited quantity from an NPC for just a few gil.

IS there a website or better yet a youtube video that shows the rotation we're supposed to use? why!
    Dude...

At Level 11, there is no rotation. You basically have Standard Synthesis and Standard Touch, pretty sure. Maybe Master's Mend, not sure when you learn that now. The game tells you how much progress you make, divide the total number of progress needed by the progress you make, and make sure there's enough durability left.

Let's say for example, you're doing an item that needs 50 progress and the game says at 100% efficiency, you get 20 progress. This means you will need 3 Standard Synthesis to finish the item.

The item has 40 durability and you have Master's Mend which restores 30. Let's assume for a second you have 160 CP.

So you would use 3 Standard Touches which takes you to 10/30 Durability and 106 CP left.

Use Master's Mend to get back up to 40/40 and you have 18 durability left, and you can do 1 more Standard Touch, and then finish it off with 3 Standard Synths.

As you gain levels, you'll get new tools. Just read their tooltips and think about what sort of situation you could use those in. This is much easier than it once was.
