Unable to download patch files. [30413][25008][20495][20495]

So a couple of days ago when the patch came out I tried to download it and the launcher keeps throwing up the error code "Unable to download patch files. [30413][25008][20495][20495]" at around 30-40mb of download completed. I noticed several other people have experienced this and tried to follow the fixes which have been stated previously as best as I could but none of them have seemed to work.

I am using a Mac so I assume some of the solutions previously stated in other threads won't work exactly the same but I still gave everything a shot before posting here. was wondering if anyone has had any response from Square as to if the problem is something that's being addressed or should I just give up and cancel my sub?

Are you connected to the router through WiFi or are you connected directly to the router? What have you tried so far to alleviate the issue?

i had the same error code and managed to solve my download problem in the end. it would be really illuminating if you described the particular steps you took to alleviate your problem. it will at least give the mods a list of things to check off of, so they can point you in the proper direction.

there is emergency maint today, hopefully they fix the issue as i have the problem too.

I am connected directly to the router via an ethernet cable.

I have forwarded ports in both the router and firewall, i even disabled the firewall.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the launcher/game
I have tried a vpn as this was suggested as a fix in another thread.

I also tried threatening my computer with a hammer but that didn't seem to work either lol.

What you are describing is a connectivity issue between your home network and the game server. Unfortunately, since the troubleshooting you mentioned did not resolve the issue, then it likely does not stem from your home network. Since this is the case, I'd suggest contacting your ISP as the issue most likely originates from along your route to the server.

I've never had issues updating before either until this patch. I'm tried so many things, updating my Windows, Reinstalling the game, alot of things. I have a house which I can't enter because of this error

the problem I have with the diagnosis of it being an issue with my network is that I have 4 computers in my house and 2 of them have updated fine, sadly neither of them are mine so I can't use them. I have also downloaded several patches and updates in the past with no issues so it seems a bit strange that all of a sudden it happens now

Just an update, I have managed to get it patched! quite shocked but I did everything again today in a final attempt to get it done before ei cancelled, and lo and behold it worked. I guess perseverance was the key in my case, seems strange that I had tried everything several times and it suddenly worked and I hope I don't have to go through this again in future patches. going to say its still a bit strange that I had to jump through so many hoops just to get the launcher to download when it worked fine before and I don't seem to be the only one having this issue. would be nice if Square could at least admit that maybe their patch has caused an issue in some cases.
