People want challenging end game content and

At the same time those people use their eden end game gears to cheese extreme primal with excessive dps numbers, then call everything easy. Some pfs are blocking non-savage gear players like crazy. I take long time to learn and figure out stuff, so I don't like the wipe fest of savage content, but I do like most of the extreme primal fights because they are less stressful to git gud at.

    Hades EX pf:

    Blind btw
    Phase 1 prog btw
    ilvl 460 btw
    Day one btw

So I'm not allow to do the new EX primal unless I beat savage? Are people for real? I don't get why ilvl 460+ people don't just do it with their static and has to shxt on casual/mid-core players in pf.

Oh man, a lot to unpack in this thread with just the first post.

    So let's start with:

Current non-savage BiS iLvl is 460 (465 weapon from Hades, but I won't count that - obviously.), and parties don't have to cater specifically to you.

    Make. Your. Own.

whats wrong with people doing the content with their best gear ?
if you don't have best gear like them, dont blame them on their hard earned gear, they deserve to use it

you say you take long time to learn and figure out stuff, so you'll have to expect to experience some of the wipefest, especially in the freshly released content, even on extreme mode,
or just wait until said content is farmable enough for most player (which you could probably get carried to clear without the wipefest ?)

Blind run is for those who enjoy figuring out stuffs
phase 1 prog, for real you complaint about pf who said they want to learn the first phase ?
ilv460 is for those who already prepared to enter hades ex (at least in the gear section)
day one, well, what do you expect on pf on the release day of content ?

just make your own pf if you want the same-minded people in your party

with upgrade item needed for augmented deepshadow obtainable from alliance raid coin exchange and nuts exchange, we should be able to obtain some 470 ilv gear
not to mention the new gear from nier alliance raid, which I believe its ilv 465 (we could only get one per weeks, but still, could obtain it before entering hades ex to raise some ilv)
and counting how long we could collect phantasmagoria tomestone till now, I'd say ilv should not have been the problem

I don't have 460, but I could literally become 460 if I spent the 2000 tomes I have, for my RDM. At this point people should probably have at least 1 class in full 460, to be honest. I haven't played for months.. I already had the weapon and a few pieces of gear from back then.

Still, I am lazy, and gear score is fluff. Most players aren't very good even with the gear score. As suggested, probably just make your own, people would join it.

Just doing the phantasmagoria grind each week netted me a full set of 460 gear (except for my ring). After raid, I upgraded my chest piece to 470 and my crafted ring to 460 at vendor, putting me above the 460 ilvl requirement. I haven't done savage.

ppl ilv lock parties cuz if you dont u get people in ronkan and artifact gear (with some deepshadow to bring up the average obviously)

also being overgeared doesnt make you cheese tje fight until way later into the expansion. right now you just skip a couple mechanics at the end of each phase and enrage is more lenient with people dying but that's pretty much it

"Blind btw" - Whats your issue with that? People want to figure this fight out for themselves, without consulting a guide because thats more fun to them - is this a problem now...? Because in the past I was under the impression that PFs like "watch a guide/video" on day one where a lot more frowned upon. If you want to run this with people who have watched a video/guide and are only going to follow this: Make your own PF, stating that.
"Phase 1 prog btw" - again, whats the problem? The PF is only telling you how far that group already knows the fight so you can pick one that matches your own experience up to that point.
"ilvl 460 btw" - you dont need Savage gear to achieve that, tomestone gear is ilvl460 and with this patch the upgraded crafted gear is 460 aswell, same with the new 24-man-stuff, which will also give you a coin to upgrade a piece of tomestone-gear from 460 to 470, making it fairly easy for a non-savage-player to achieve and ilvl of 460. The fight itself will ask for 450 btw, full savage would be 470 - 460 seems like a very fair middleground to me that everyone whos been playing this game for the past weeks can achieve easly. If you dont: Make your own PF asking for 450.
"Day one btw" - Yes - and? Non of these things you listed above are clashing with that: People want blind runs, some with progress in early phases of the fight and with an ilvl that any "dedicated casual" player will have.

    You're allowed to:
    -make your own PF
-queue for it through the DF
-join a PF that fits you

And to answer your question: My static was missing two people on tuesday so we filled the open spots via PF. Going in blind. On day one. How dare we!

Just let them have their PF, they probably set it at 460 to keep the "bads" out even though just because you have savage gear doesn't make you good.

Honestly I wish there was a way to set the PF requirements to "Must know how to stand in assigned circles" but I feel like that's a bit beyond the skill level of most pug groups.

On Crystal, I haven't noticed this being that prevalent. I saw one ilvl 465 learning group, but that was it.

Something this new and sought after, you won't wait long if you setup a PF.
