Maybe it's just because I played Yoko Taro's other games, but I loved every minute of it. The chat in my first few runs were going nuts, too.

Highly enjoyed it, even did it blind with 23 other people in discord and there was so much screaming and wackiness. I've run it two more times since then trying to get the drops.
I really feel like they should have swapped the third and fourth boss around however. I like the final boss but I think it would have been much cooler to fight the third at the end to give even people who just start playing Automata an even more hype experience they can relate to as the closer.
I thought it was ok, but I don't feel super invested in the story. Perhaps that's because I haven't played any of the games?
Music is great and mechanics are fun (especially 2nd boss). Gear I was disappointed in because I want my female character to be able to wear stuff like the 9s jacket. None of the super sexy stuff appeals to me.
Overall it's just ok content to me personally. I'm very happy for all you fans who get to experience it in all your excitement though![]()
I loved the fights and music, was a very run raid to play.
As someone who hasn't played much Nier however, I found very little story to get invested in. We have the quests with the dwarves which is fine, then suddenly we randomly find 2P who barely even looks at us and immediately goes "there are bad machines here, we'd better kill them" and off we go to do so, with a flashy fight scene after the last boss. Nothing is explained or lead up to and our character barely even interacts with 2P. Compared to the Rabanastre story which had multiple characters and it's own indepth story I wasn't very impressed with Nier.
It was different, and potentially fun if I can stay alive. I died about 20 times on my first run. There won't be a second until I've watched a few instruction videos.

It's so fun and the bgm so epic, maybe you need to learn boss's mechanic.
First time dead 10+, I'm learning mechanic in blind and now I have 18 run, it's still very fun and epic raid (for Orchestrion Roll, Pod minion, 2B outfit). Thanks SE, Yoko Taro and Okabe Keiichi.

I have a couple nitpicks but I loved the raid overall.
The only problem is, it's not really Automata if my finger isn't cramped from holding down the R1 button.
I'm glad to see feedback like this.
There's more to the raid than people are giving credit because of Drakengard and NieR Gestalt/Replicant. The final area where it looks like its snowing is especially vital. I knew this would happen, people complaining because they didn't recognize something that would set off several red flags. It still makes me cringe.
There is absolutely no need for that. Here. Not even a guide, just a player who fumbles buttons but still cleared.

I didn't watch any videos before going in so when I was fighting No. 9 and then all of a sudden a tank drops in out of nowhere, I couldn't help but laugh at the pure ridiculousness in the chaos. I was stressed but in a good way I guess.
compared to Rabanastre, the first of the Ivalice raids I found Copied Factory to be kinda bland in terms of story and even some of the boss' mechanics. The slow start may be intended but it feels too slow (in my personal opinion ofc). A quest or two more going more in depth with 2P's introduction would have been good
