Anyone know the name of the music during Einstein cs?
Tho they are not hard, just sometimes takes couple tries to do I do agree that it is dumb to play as story characters in solo duties :/. Playing as one class then having to jump into a class you not familiar or comfortable with can be frustrating tho.I however do not see it getting changed unless enough people complain about it and unfortunately do not see alot people that do :/
I saw I was doing some kind of roar and had no idea what it was... then ended up dying to mechanics I didn't know or didn't see coming (like I didn't realize I could target the turrets the first time) then being sent back to fight my way through the trash all over again because the turrets exploded and instant killed me wasn't a very fun design. I probably would have been more forgiving of the idea if instead of being popped back to the beginning of the cutscenes and the trash pulls with Gaius, you just started at the boss encounter again. But really it felt like a bullshit KO and I was so frustrated I immediately swapped off of it. It made it feel like a "gotcha" moment rather than something neat or exciting.Thing is you don't need to know anything about Dragoon for the fight because he has 4 skills for the second part a DoT a single target skill that always heals you Stardiver another damage skill that has a seperate cd and roar(aoe). It was an easy fight not once was i in danger of dying avoid the aoes from the boss and you never drop below 80% hp. Only time i went below that was the adds and that was 70%.
Its not a hard fight i dont see how people are struggling with it. No knowledge of DRG is needed because its 241114112114 the entire fight. And aoe when the 1 set of adds shows up. Wait for the LB queue to pop hit LB and fights over.
I personally love these fights because its not oh hey another fight on my over tuned main character thats easier yet.
I have the touchpad turned off.... and wasn't aware of the other option. But even then that's still not a very intuitive method for people on the PlayStation to see what the actions do, or at least not in my case where I'm used to reading them in the actions menu.
But you don't need to know anything in particular about those classes to play them well. You just need to know how any class works (mainly your own) to know how to play them: know what a combo is, what a DoT is, what an oGCD move is, etc.Tho they are not hard, just sometimes takes couple tries to do I do agree that it is dumb to play as story characters in solo duties :/. You didn't need to know anything about SMN to play as Alphinaud, nor anything about WHM to play as Y'shtola, nor anything about SAM to play as Hien and you don't need to know anything about DRG to play as Estinien. They're just gimped jobs, with a few basic abilities that are present on most jobs.
It is all over this thread, so you're a bit later there..
