Depends on the type of poster or wall hanging. Something that is framed in some fashion tends to be more expensive most of the time.

I would rather have posters than mounts and everyone is buying mounts from mogstation.

Because people are willing to buy it. I mean you have people who shelled out $30 for an in game whale mount. A whale for a whale lol... perfectly balanced as all things should be xD

When i have seen new optional items i was hoping they added a nice outgit with real heels, but what we got everybody know... a texture copy-paste image in low resolution. I want hilda hairs is that a lot to ask for..

Remember to vote with your wallet and that this, as well as everything in the OPTIONAL ITEMS list are just that, optional.

I'm not saying they're priced well, or even reasonably. I haven't purchased any ever myself (I also have never purchased loot boxes or the like myself in any other game), but people like me and people in this thread (seemingly) aren't the targets for these items.

The Mogstation was never too bad until Stormblood, where it seemed like continuously pushed the line just to see how much they could get. Prior to that, we saw a couple mounts, cosplay glamours and only a couple Chinese exclusives. Stormblood practically doubled everything while also introducing emotes. I wager they ran out of emote ideas, thus posters are their new cash grab.

That all said, the housing consumables have always been laughably overpriced.

Yeah that's a really absurd price but they probably have fancy spreadsheets and pie charts that illustrate how much people are willing to spend on various things like mounts and outfits. They're also over charging for a a facial cosmetic, you know, something that should already be available via the aesthetician. It's fairly obvious they're running out of ideas.
