If they receive like 50+ tickets per day from different players for the same issue in a more official way, it may enlighten it quicker. Plus, people without forum account should be able to send it as well.

I created two tickets for separate but related issues through this method and only got the same canned response for both saying to try lowering my graphics settings and if it didn’t work to post on this forum... So I’m not sure it’s very effective either.

Today moved the game from a ssd to a external hd and haven't had any dx11 errors so far today. That's very weird if ssd was causing them.

Ditto, I've tried moving the game on Internal HDD and on External SSD but didn't try External HDD... If that works for everyone I may buy a cheap one and try !

No change. I got a directx (d3d11.dll errors) popup right when I tried to log in. As per usual.

So far for me zero dx11 errors today on external hd and tried the ssd it was copied from and instant dx11 errors but there both same copy very weird. Today been on since 9am and now its 5pm and still no errors.

Both me and my wife have been having the same issue, in heavily loaded areas(Lots of other players around) or in dungons/raids. It has happened multiple times since 5.1 came out, including 3 times today in the span of 45 mins.

Both PCs are using current GPU drivers, have been reinstalled multiple times.

Makes the game almost unplayable, anytime I am tanking a raid and the game freezes or just throws a DX Error I have to restart the game and hope I make it back in time so no one is dead.

I was only able to catch a screenshot of my DX error.

Sounds the same as most of us in this thread since the patch. I recommend creating a separate thread with your system config dump (via the FFXIV launcher) and describing your problem. I also recommend posting what troubleshooting steps you've done in that thread. Hopefully a mod will respond to you individually about the issue.

Same here. I get the same results on my external SSD and both my internal SSD and HDD. I'm glad hynaku found a fix though. Still radio silence from SE about whether this is an officially recognized problem that they're looking to patch and it's been over a week now. My character progression in this patch has already been messed up by this point.
