DirectX 11 Errors

I'm getting the exact same issues complete with almost identical error codes, it's honestly getting infuriating and i can pin point my own moment I hit the error codes and it's on the split staircase in the new dungeon I hit that point and it hard crashes with these error codes. Clean install of the game, clean install of the new drivers for Direct X 11, checked my 1080 no issues there, so now i'm honestly thinking something is broken.

Because of this error and so many like them I'm almost afraid to do ANYTHING in the game now as it may trigger this error message.

I never had any issues with dx 11 but Today, while waiting for PvP in wolves Den and doing buisiness with my Retainers the Game all of a Sudden crashed with a DX 11 Error. I didnt change anything on the PC, Drivers and Stuff are on the most recent state so its definetly Game/Patch related.

It's funny because I never had any issues with DX11 since this 10-23-19 error popped up. I've had it happen in raids and even dungeons and it's actually made me swap back to DX9 just to avoid the frustration, which so far has been working fine. My PC has been the same and it's been running great so my guess is there's something in the patch that caused it, and it's affecting multiple people now.

Yup i got the message: 2019.10.23_19:47 . Seems to be the same thing. Im afraid of doing pvp now cause getting crashed while being in a fight is obviously a bad thing.

Edit: if i saw this right, everybody is using Nvidia graphics cards. Maybe its related to that? Could also be a Steam related thing tho.

Mine gave me the time of 10-23-2019 13:47 yet my error happened at around 8 PM or so. I'm using an AMD, which I'll post my own status report when I get back home. I am using Steam though so I'm not sure if that's part of it, possibly relating to the new launcher? I'll try running it on the old one and see if it works out fine in DX11.

Really bad timing for XIV to be having these errors the moment this new content launches, especially for an EX.

I see so NVIDIA seems out of it. I did read some posts about messed up files in the Steam version with people not even able to load the launcher. So its probably a Steam thing again.

I'm getting the DX11 crash too, except for me it's as soon as the game launches, before the opening movie and title screen even have a chance to load up. Tried steam/no steam, old launcher/new launcher, nothing.

I've had this problem since the patch and after trying a lot of stuff yesterday I did a clean reinstall of the game. At first it was just instances that gave the error and the field maps and towns were fine. I went to Il Mheg yesterday and ran around a bit but now today after the reinstall I teleported to Il Mheg and it gives the exact same DX11 error as the first image in the original post as soon as I load in and thus I can't play my character even though I changed nothing. I've also had the ffxiv.exe errors today but those seem to have been replaced by the dx11 errors now.

Reinstalling does nothing, using DX9 does nothing, turning down my graphics settings to minimum does nothing, turning off Steam overlay does nothing, using the old launcher does nothing, my graphics driver is fully updated, and as far as I know my DirectX is fully updated. I'm out of ideas and clearly something has gone wrong with the data in this patch since I'm not alone. The game needs a fix.

After hotfix still having the same issue making 5.1 content unplayable. Retried entering new MSQ dungeon and get immediate Dx11 crash. The "Light Party" words show up but the screen stays black with a Dx11 popup before crashing to desktop.

I've been kicked again 3 times already today. Twice in the new dungeon with trusts, at the very end I looted the caster pants and tried them on. Kicked. Got back in and immediately left the dungeon, kicked again before I could load back into the world. Was fine until I just went to Il Mheg to wait for the dailies to come up. Was just standing there looking at something on my other monitor, kicked again. Very frustrating.
