Please let us change the interior wall/stairs!

Now that we can use any exterior wall in any area it makes little sense why we still are locked to our locales stairs/walls. I wish SE would make this changeable

Definitely wish you could do this. Recently relocated to a medium in shirogane because I love the actual housing wards. Didn't even think about how much all of the red trim and heavily themed inner house design would end up clashing horribly with what I was going to be putting inside. Would love to be able to swap the interior to something more neutral.

Yes, please. I've spent hours cladding rooms with partitions because I hate the windows and raggy red ends on the shirogane house, and the pillars with their oversized hit boxes leave ugly gaps between the furniture and walls. I love the texture of the white partitions, and while I know you can wallpaper that onto the real walls, that's not dyable and you still get the pillar/window/red rags issues. My first apartment where I actually wanted the hingan walls with crystal wallpaper, I clad it in blank hingan and wallpapered each to cover the dead zones from pillars and the ugly windows...and swiftly went mad from accidentally clicking near one or the other of them because they're always targetable. My mistake not knowing that at the time, but it's silly that the options were frustration at the visual flaws or frustration at the functional flaws.

Ideally, I'd like full customisation (windows on/off, pillars on/off, walls replaced with any partition model complete with wallpaper or dye options as relevant). But at the very least, swap between the three locale interiors at will so it's either something you can work with (smaller hitboxes, nicer trims) or like outright.

It could even be a vendor or crafted thing, like the exteriors, roofs, fencings, etc. or existing partitions, so you need to buy/craft an interior to re-clad your house/floor/room, meaning the gil-sink isn't avoided by not having to buy twenty partitions, and crafters don't lose business from the drop in demand for multiple wallpapers to cover individual partitions as they have something new to make and sell.

Yeah, it would be nice. I had to use partitions to block off parts of the walls to make at some of the rooms I wanted. Taking up precious items slots for that sucks.

And honestly, my new place in the Mist is awesome. But what I wouldn't give to change the bulky pillars inside.

100%. Main reason I'm located in Mists instead of Lavender Beds is the interior stairs. If I could have those stairs everywhere....

Would love flat walls and customizable pillars
Also tired of putting partitions everywhere to cover pillars up, thus losing house-space and furnishing slots.

All of this. I want to be able to customize interior walls without having pillars interfering, and being able to change the windows for the set exterior walls (shirogane house wall windows look like prison bars)

If nothing else make the pillars function the same as walls and let us put wall mounted items on them!

Can we just delete all the pillars, the small ones that make it hard to flush against the wall and the big corner ones? Just delete them, if I want pillars I'll buy them. It's making it so annoying to build a nice house sometimes....

Honestly, I would pay very real money to do this.

I would like to have dyable wallpapers and flooring. The yellow carpet flooring is nice but I want more options.
