On topic, the game in it's current iteration does not work well for longer lockouts, but I see as something that may be implemented in 2.0. Hopefully they will also introduce a higher drop rate. It's all just pacification of the player base until 2.0. They keep us playing and look for feedback.

Also back on topic: I have to agree that "farming" inherently implies a loss of fun. But there really isn't much else to do other than CC and AV. So I'll just suck it up and keep on, keeping on.

Wouldn't it just make more sense to increase the Darklight drop rate when completing a 5 chest run? What do you get for doing this? 5 Achievement points? Big Whoop. You should give the players who work hard something more than an equal time sink to those who don't make the effort.

Just my harsh opinion.

This is not a QQ post, more of a ZZZ post.

Just wondering how many of the "elite" players/LSes are just fed up with CC and AV speed runs/ the game in general.

We have been farming CC on the regular to being with, but this weekend we decided to go non-stop, periodically. We have just done 25-30 speed runs in the past day and a half a row and got ZERO Darklight gear. Meanwhile, random people are getting drops on non-speed runs.

There seems to be something wrong with this reward system. You complete the dungeon faster than 95% of the people, get no drops, then have to wait 15 minutes just to re-enter. Anyone think that wins should be automatic reentry with the abysmal drop rates they have? Three of our LS members, who are madly in love with the game, over the past two days have grown to hate the game. Clearly something is wrong with this picture.

1 DD curiass, 3 heavy DL gloves, 1 DL dd boots in 85-100 runs (I lost track). A majority of them being speed runs. Mathematically speaking, that's absurd.

I sympathize with your frustration, and I can understand it to some extent. But would like to draw out the following points:

1) You are killing your own fun. Any activity, no matter how fun, if done to excess, will become unfun. I love cookiees, but if I eat 1000/day, I won't so much. To retain the 'fun' do not kill the 'fun' by excess.
2) As you have shown, there is no benefit from doing it 5 times a night, versus 30 times a night. Unless you are on a timeline (where you HAVE to get the Darklight gear before 1.22 or you will be eaten by Gobbuee), then I have to ask what's the hurry?
3) You are correct, I do not see the need to wait 15 minutes to re-enter IF you complete the whole dungeon. It makese sense for non-completion (to prevent farming the first chest for example). Reducing to 5 minutes should be plenty (and good time for organized 'breaks').

Although the gear is lovely and pretty, *I* believe it is nothing to be obsessed over, or to cause frustration over. Also, I believe the gear is MEANT to be very hard (and annoying) to get so as to help their exclusivitiy. It is 'nice' to have something that is so rare and exclusive that if anyone sees you with it, they will be shocked and amazed. Perhaps this is one of those items?

In the mean time, may I humbly suggest the following:
Do the DH/DH2/CC runs because you enjoy them.
If you get a prize at the end, yaaay, be happy.
If not, no biggy, you had some time out with friends.
