You got 10 MSQ quests, an EX Trial, a new dungeon and 5 Raid Quests and a new raid and people think they deserve MORE? Just because you want to blast through it one evening doesn't mean people who...I don't know...work full time and have a life might take a bit longer. Also, let us remember how few quests were added in the updates for Stormblood. SE could easily start saying...well here's 2-3 MSQ quests and that is all your getting and now enjoy waiting another 4 months.

I haven't tried everything yet, but the parts I have I've enjoyed. I loved the MSQ, so many interesting implications and threads starting this time around. It seems like the plot of the patch series will be moving much faster in ShB than previous expansions.

I've only read the patch notes but I can already assure you I'll love it.

The stuff I've experienced:
Hearing the chime when my blood lily is ready, as a white mage, is a neat touch. It's a clear sound but not obnoxious.
Ilvl restrictions on some older dungeons returned their challenge. It's no longer speedrun and faceroll. It's like its back to how they originally intended it.

Loving it so far. I've done the raid several times already but still unlucky with the box. I got the minion tho, and one orchestrion roll ( that I sold for 2M).
New MSQ dungeon was great, BT looks promising (I love pixies), the XP boost for gathering/crafting is A-MAZ-ING ! Auto gather too.
I still need to try Hades EX and finish the MSQ but I can't wait for this evening to do the Nier raid again. I need that outfit so much ( like everyone else I suppose ^^.

Not that I'm complaining, especially since I've enjoyed Nier and have yet to touch the MSQ myself. Lets not pretend this will take longer than a weekend at the very least. And that assumes you play at a rather slow pace already. People really need to stop acting like a handful of quests take weeks to complete even if you have a full time job.

And while SE could say that, they wouldn't because it people would inevitably unsub, which loses them money.

The only, and really, the only one thing I won't get, is why we have one-shot mechanics you can avoid only if known beforehand.

That's stuff for savage, not story, imho.

Everything else, is nice and all. Crafting too feels more enjoyable. When said from someone that kept crafting as the very last thing to do, is something.

The changes for leveling crafters/gatherers is absolutely bonkers. I went from 43-61 on my fisher with just 14 leves. A welcome change to be sure.

YES im with you I got all three of my gatherers who were at 32 to 53 in 2hour just getting nq mats. Ridiculous. But awesome.

Very pleased. The MSQ is yet another grand moment in the history of storytelling, and the dungeon a new step in the research of the ultimate fusion of linearity, emptiness and archaism.

It's will probably take me more than a weekend to clear Hades ex since I can only raid in a pug on the weekend. So it will take people like me weeks to farm the new extreme primal.
