Just read over the last live letter. Seems that’s likely to happen lol. So I guess the difficult recipe system will be implemented in 5.2 to the endgame recipes. Time to sleep until February when 5.2 is out...Isn't this the first of two big overhauls for the crafting system? So this might be the first step to change it to the way they want it to be.
I'm a big macro user myself for crafting but I'd like to think that for high end crafts you actually need use your skill actively instead of macro'ing. And with Reclaim gone we cannot start over if we screw up.

yes, the next update will remove all skills and replace them with craft button which instantly makes the item.Isn't this the first of two big overhauls for the crafting system? So this might be the first step to change it to the way they want it to be.

I did the new raid and only took two runs to get my weekly gear, so very happy about that. I also caught up with the MSQ and got to do 6 of the new beast tribe quests and, overall, got some gear upgrades for several jobs. Overall, very satisfied with my experience today...er...yesterday.
I've been checking these forums on a daily basis since late May. I'll just say that there was a Warrior whining about losing their HP stance a little after 5.0 changes to Tanks were announced which was the only Con the job had as a Tank compared to the rest of it's role at that time.
So long story short, some ppl just love to complain.

Haven't seen all of it yet but so far the new dungeon and the Pixie-Tribe seems to be fun and the new Ally-Raid is really awesome. Still disappointed with the lack of new Gold Saucer Reward and the way longer PVP queing times though.
Also I still need to check out Hades-EX, the new crafting system, job changes like NIN or SMN and the rest of the Main Story as I stopped for the day right after the dungeon.

I am "acutally please" with the patch, whatever that means.

I'm pretty much done with all of the new patch content for now.
The BLU stuff is what I'm looking forward to, honestly.
It's okay. I probably won't be playing very much now that I've done most of what I was looking forward to.
Can't say they've added anything that will keep me here, which is the norm.

I haven't dived into half what the patch has offered but so far I'm happy with the 24 man raid but overall nonplussed with the simplification of PVP and doubly so with the apparent removal of 24 man Frontlines. That said since I haven't played around with most of it I can't give a verdict either way.

I haven't had a chance to try new crafting yet, but I've loved everything else. New raid is fun with amazing music, msq had some great character moments and the new dungeon is super pretty, and I'm enjoying the pixies too.
