i don't like the new launcher

the old one basically was dark mode, but yeah, the new one is too bright. we need to start voicing our opinions about some of the changes we do not like. we all pay a sub fee, we all have the right to say " I don't like this". how far are we going to let the game be changed before its a whole new game? what are we supposed to do when they make a change and we disagree with it? that's why I wanted to talk about it now.

Yes, you have the right to state your opinion and say that you don't like it. But people are also allowed to disagree with you, that's how opinions work. I like the new design, I just want a dark mode. But at the end of the day i only see the launcher for a few seconds whilst putting in my password (which i really just want to safe so I don't have to type it every time) so for all I care the launcher can be a tiny box where it just asks you for your login info and I wouldn't care.

I don't think it's a bad design, but I do feel that the mostly light themed launcher doesn't go very well with the pop up box that is still in "dark mode" with the play button attached after putting in one's login information. Other than that I don't think it's bad at all. It just feels...hastily put together I guess, with a side of change just for the sake of change.

I have eyes that are very sensitive to brightness, to the point I've gone and made everything dark mode and basically have to use sunglasses anytime I step foot outside my own house. That said... this launcher physically hurts my eyes. SE, please make a dark mode version of it, or at the very least do not discontinue the old launcher out of consideration with people with visual impairments such as myself that make bright things painful to look at. Thank you.

Funnily enough my PC launcher is still exactly the same.

The PS4 one changed to white.


But, i gotta say. You look at it for a couple of seconds. Really, it's not a big deal.

I understand that I only see it for a few seconds, but it's still jarring to look at. it looks bad. with no dark mode option, it starts you off being annoyed. you wouldn't go grocery shopping if you got a good shot in the ribs when you walk in, you would be furious. how would you feel if your chicken wasn't fully cooked at a restaurant? i'm sorry your food wasn't cooked properly, but i'm going to have to ask you to leave; you are causing a disturbance for our other guests.

god, I can't stand how bright it is. I'm not just happy to simply tolerate it peacefully because I feel there's a huge problem if SE are happy to make awful changes to their service game >_>

Have they heard of UX?

I find it to be good. It seems a lot more responsive and organized in my opinion. A dark mode would be nice and I suspect we will get one.
