The New/Added Combat Sounds...Thoughts?

if theyre going to randomly make big changes for things that aren't broken they could atleast have the decency to do it correctly since the general consensus here seems to be that most of the new voices don't match the old ones and sound out of place. like in theory yeah i'd be down for more voices but this is the worst possible way they could have done it, i'm not sure if they even mentioned this outside of the patch notes or even asked

like seriously, if you can't even get the same voice actor and make it sound fitting why bother, that's what makes the least sense to me here, it should not have been changed if they didn't even have the proper resources/time for it which is the impression i'm getting (similar to how viera and hrothgar are essentially "unfinished" races that got released anyway)

I actually like my character's new combat sounds a lot! Didn't got to hear other people's voices, but my own experience has been satisfying.

Yeah, some of them are quite nice, I feel bad for those who got terrible ones though :/

Hahaha, true! It would awesome to get some Jojo inspired Gear though.

Back on topic, from a view posts I've read it seems like we should've gotten a heads up and voice video tester of sorts before hand so we wouldn't be surprised by the sudden changing of our character's voices.

I'm not sure what mine'll be like since I'm cut off from the net at the moment, but I'm pretty sure it's been ruined. And I worked hard through my mild perfectionism to get that voice, perfectly matched with my character, too. :/

I like the change, more variety and the voice is fitting. Lalafell M Voice 2 (I think!)

I feel like I got lucky. I really like my character's new grunts. She sounds more badass now!

I'm just hoping she doesn't do anything new upon KO. She doesn't really make any sound at all when KO'd, and I prefer it stays that way.
