The ones for my voice sound...off, both because they're too quiet and because they don't sound like they're even from the same VA.

Some of Male Roe Voice 2’s new ones sound like Voice 1’s VA. I still like it, though.

I'm using Female Lala voice 1. There are three grunts added. Two of them are higher pitch and are passable. One of them which annoys me to no end sounds like a fluffy puppy bark. I don't know if there are other female lalas out there with voice one who have the same problem as I do.

THANK GOD im not the only one. On the first Day i was like "Huh...? Wait a Minute..WHY the Hell im sounding like a Chihuahua who was kicked in his balls?!". First i thought it was the Lala Male Tank in our Group but no....it was me q_q.I'm using Female Lala voice 1. There are three grunts added. Two of them are higher pitch and are passable. A big issue that’s been around for a while with character sounds is that sometimes the characters can get so vocal that the game sounds broken (voice clips playing into each other, etc). I was really really happy with my character’s voice and the level of noise he made, but it is really upsetting that he’s suffering from this issue now. Like other people have said, I’m all for some more voice clips, thankfully the new ones for my voice aren’t bad, but the frequency with which they play is jarring, and sometimes the same clip can play 5 times in a row. I don’t know how easy it’d be for them, but I’d love to at least see a slider or an option to toggle how vocal your character is.
Oddly enough I seem to notice it most often with Aiming jobs like dancer and MCH. For some reason my melee dps and tank jobs and casters don't seem to grunt in combat as much. Though maybe it's just me and has to do with the charactesr I play what jobs on?A big issue that’s been around for a while with character sounds is that sometimes the characters can get so vocal that the game sounds broken (voice clips playing into each other, etc). Yeah I definitely notice it more on certain classes but I’ve been noticing it a lot on my melee. Interestingly enough, my alt that’s suffered from this issue forever is more quiet now, so I’m not entirely sure what all they did with algorithms.
I wish you could turn off these battle noises, but keep your character's voice for emotes. I hate that it turns it all off! My Viera has a great emote voice, but her battle stuff sounds like she is constipated and trying to well..ya know.

I really don't like the new voice. I got about halfway through the new raid and started hearing it. I want my old grunts back. The new one is so out of place and unusual. The voice I use is the only fem Elezen voice I can stand in combat, so switching isn't really much of an option for me. I'd appreciate a toggle to turn off the new grunt or something. Every time I hear the new one it annoys me.

Just tested my character's voice out after noticing this thread. The new added "grunts" don't bother me. Mine sounds like the same VA, in my opinion, but I know others will think otherwise.
