My male Lala voice 2 new lines sound so feminine... I really don't like them, and they sound so unlike the originals that I thought it was a bug.

THANK GOD im not the only one. On the first Day i was like "Huh...? Wait a Minute..WHY the Hell im sounding like a Chihuahua who was kicked in his balls?!". First i thought it was the Lala Male Tank in our Group but no....it was me q_q.I'm using Female Lala voice 1. There are three grunts added. Two of them are higher pitch and are passable. One of them which annoys me to no end sounds like a fluffy puppy bark. I don't know if there are other female lalas out there with voice one who have the same problem as I do.
You can't rightly assess it doesn't belong to your voice actor, because all the voice actors have ever done is grunt and mumble. You've never heard them speak, how can you pretend to know it doesn't fit?
I'd love to see what you'd all sound like if you were locked in the middle of bloody combat. I'm sure it wouldn't sound pretty, or cute.
"You have a heart of gold. Don't let them take it from you!"
I mean, my Miqo’te voice has 2 new grunts that don’t sound remotely close to their original sounds. Ironically, they’re louder and more frequent than the old ones. I’d wager they’re from two different voice actors, because the tones don’t sound remotely similar to one another. I’m not pretending anything. I’m making an assessment based on what I hear repeatedly every time I play my main job.You can't rightly assess it doesn't belong to your voice actor, because all the voice actors have ever done is grunt and mumble. I don’t think I’d randomly go NYAH!! NYAH!! while fighting, but that’s just me.

Doesn't take much deduction to see that some of the new combat voices are significantly different than the old one. The newer ones sound similar to each other, but nothing like the old ones. Not all voices have it rough though, that's why ot seems mixed. You can't rightly assess it doesn't belong to your voice actor, because all the voice actors have ever done is grunt and mumble. ^And it also makes sense that my Vieras new attack voices sound fine, since Viera are more recent, they probably did use the same voice actor. Old voices might have problems with getting the old voice actor in to record some more.
The problem isn't about the voice actors being different. Frankly, that is ridiculous because one, we can't really prove they were different without any proof. Second, voice actors are typically skilled at changing their tone and delivery of voice (to a certain level depending on their vocal range) to play different characters. Even if the voice actors did end up being different, it's the sound director's job (or voice director if they have one, etc.) to make sure the voices are accurate and good. Which comes the next part...
The problem is how these lines were delivered by the actors, moreso because of the directing. Although I've heard a dozen of the new ones and a good number did sound alright to me. While it's an opinion, I think people should also understand that voices do shift in tone and pitch, so not everything on the same voice will sound the same because of the delivery. Like...literally all of us can do it.

They're quieter and i appreciate that.
It's probably all the same voice actors. WoW did something like this a few years ago and most of the races' original voice actors returned to record these additional sounds.

...If English voices come to mind, yes. If it's Japanese (which assumingly is the source material) then no, that's wrong.
