I typically don’t like to do synced extreme trials. Unless it’s helping someone out. But in general I wouldn’t mind if it was an occasional option. Specifically toencourage the player base to help those that haven’t cleared one yet.
While I dont mind an incentive to do some of the old, "difficult" content synched again, it sounds like quite a hassle to implement that into Khloes book (which would now need to track wether or not you cleared the content synched or not - also: what happens if you clear some content synched, but unsych other content in the end?)
I think a different system (and if its only a second book from Khloe) would be much easier to work with - I could imagine something like Rowenas old weekly to run the original 3 EX-primals: Pick 3 of the difficult contents each week, make them the same for everyone aswell (to increase chances to actually find groups for that) and then go from there.
I always thought it was silly that we could do WT stuff unsynced to begin with.
I still would like this to be a thing!
This might be a bit much to incentivize it, but assuming there was a 'hard mode' version of her diaries, maybe allow upgrade materials for 460/Future iLvls to be in her loot pool? That would certainly make me go out and attempt things after all my other weeklies have been knocked out.
...Why? Just do it synced if you want to. People seem to find it so hard to do something if there isn't any kind of reward or incentive for doing it. What happened to just doing it because it's fun?
Well, I don't feel like many people find the fun in these sort of things. The incentive is just to push people to do it and hopefully find the fun on the way. I'm on the side of people who find it fun to attempt these things synced, but as I've said, people just like to go in, punch the boss a few times and leave. I don't think that will change, as it's quick and 'optimal', unless you do this sort of thing.
Ive tried to set up synced runs and was told by quite a few people that it's a waste of time as they get nothing from it. This just potentially erases that argument and gives the content a reason to exist after the few weeks its relevant and just never sees the light of day again.
I'm not one who needs incentive to do this content, but many DO need something to push them to do so. What I've suggested as incentive doesn't need to be the end all, that's it, that's what you get. It's just a point from which hopefully other ideas can emerge.

Path of least resistance....Why? Just do it synced if you want to. People seem to find it so hard to do something if there isn't any kind of reward or incentive for doing it. What happened to just doing it because it's fun?
Also if people just did stuff "because it's fun" they wouldn't have had to make things like roulettes (or the Wondrous Tails system) in the first place to try to incentivize people.
They could just require needing to do her book via DF roulettes.
There would need to be a restructuring of the roulette system though.
and people would just leave if they don't get the sticker they want.
But yeah, my thought is out there, I can see problems with my idea but maybe someone can develop further on it.
