Housing Locked upon login

I was one of the many that wanted to upgrade/buy a bigger house for my FC. Well...
I pretty much logged in as soon as servers came up.. Ran over to one of the available mansions and attempted to relocate as a FC... guess what.. Couldn't buy it.. got a "Housing feature locked out" message over and over... I clicked and clicked for a min or so.. and someone else walked right up and.. BAM.. bought it.. FTH!!

That's on called for on SE end its said pain and clear in patch notes fc got first chance at new housing added. If they did something like that to me I would never buy another one of there games again.

Private Housing can still relocate to the new wards, though. But many people on reddit had the same error for relocating FCs.

Out of curiosity - if you check your house's storerooom status, does it say that you are eligible for relocation?

The large plots go super fast everywhere. There are only 3 large plots for each area and they go in an instant.

I went ahead and relocated to a medium house before all those were sold. So I couldn't tell you now. Sorry. But that relocate went through perfectly fine...

Yeah. There was actually a couple still for sale. I just ran to the one I knew I wanted... but got jacked by that error for a couple mins trying to relocate... idk.

I was one of the lucky ones who was able to log in and relocate our FC's house to a large. It did, however, take several minutes for the move to register. During that time several others attempted to purchase the plot, but could not. My FC leader also checked the board, since the relocation was taking so long. She got the option to purchase it as well, but also received the error that you mentioned. Perhaps someone had already beaten you to the house, but the server hadn't registered it yet.

I got that error on the plot I was hoping to relo our FC to. We had better luck with a backup, but OOF it stung being ~70 in Balmung's queue and losing like that orz
