Can't get the new launcher (MacOS)

So the MacOS will get the new launcher update later down the line? No dates or anything? (also it would be really helpful if you told me where to find these updates cause I am hopelessly lost)

They clearly stated 'according to the patch notes'

Try searching for the following phrase 'The launcher for the Mac version will be revamped' using the ctrl+f function. It's near the bottom of the patch notes, if you didn't stop reading early.
