Well hopefully job balances will fix this when/if they come.
Honestly I haven't been able to play Dragoon nearly as often as I would like because I'm stuck on Black Mage in Cutter's Cry and looking at being stuck on Monk in Aurum Vale.

I will say that when I did play DRG in Cutter's Cry it was super useful during the princess fight. Leg Sweep and Ring of Talons destroy the ant soldiers while keeping constant DPS on the princess.

Chimera was a bit of a challenge though....close range melee are punished for trying to fight Chimera making ranged/magic jobs more useful in the fight. Never mind the fact that speed runs are so much easier when you just spam BLM/BRD....Safe spots can easily be found to avoid Voice of the Dragon while remaining outside of the draw in ability.

I feel like encounters with bosses need to be balanced better by adding more variety of attacks. The fact that you can stand in the same spot every single encounter with Chimera and KNOW you won't die is a bit stupid and destroys any credibility close range melee could have over Ranged/Magic which is just as detrimental as particular jobs being all around better than others.

I want all jobs to be viable through proper job balancing AS WELL AS encounter balancing.
