Well that's a good one... I'm looking at my so-called "lengthy paragraph" and NOWHERE did I say it was better. I recall saying "it works" but we prefer the easy way out.
Guess you see irony where you want it to happen, my dear Frein.
My apologies. I was not fully clear in my post. I edited it to better reflect what you said, but you were the faster poster, it seems.

That's what I should be adding : Simply because stacking classes in a given situation is "easier" doesn't mean the other classes are "useless". Anyway, as more content is added, chances are there'll be situations where we'll stack OTHER classes. Also, I think we can all agree that given the game's current situation, it highly encourages the leveling of many classes.
It would be useful to be reminded that, while it has progressed by a noticeable amount, this game is far from being complete. I'd call it "playable" but certainly not "complete". At least it's way better what it was back in September 2010.
you're obviously not very resourceful OP! drg and mnk are key players in all of our dungeon runs

Here's my two cents:
Monk has three abilities that can stun a mob, (shoulder tackle, pounce and haymaker) meaning that if you are smart with how you use them, a monk can potentially stun-lock a mob for short periods. You also gain access to abilities that increase your dps, increase your damage resistance, and reduce the recast on your weaponskills. You can literally unleash combos faster than any other job as long as you have the TP. (since mnk can use cross class abilities from lancer, notably invigorate, TP gain isn't that big of a problem.)
On the other hand, Dragoon AF has a huge amount of -enmity, so they can just go crazy on mobs with little fear of gaining hate. They also have the highest TP gain of any job, and if they miss, they have two ws that cost almost nothing to use, are almost guaranteed to hit, and one of them has a pretty useful combo with disembowel.
By comparison, Warrior can deal all kinds of critical damage, and have high hate generation for tanking/crowd control. However they have slow TP gain, aren't quite as accurate, and have slower dps when compared to mnk and drg

There is not a warrior alive who can out dps my dragoon, against any number of enemies. There is not a warrior alive that can out dps a monk on a single target. My linkshell doesn't use warrior in any situation apart from tanking. Warriors replacing other classes? LOLurdoinitwrong.
since you good using DRG, I wanna ask some questions:There is not a warrior alive who can out dps my dragoon, against any number of enemies. There is not a warrior alive that can out dps a monk on a single target. My linkshell doesn't use warrior in any situation apart from tanking. Warriors replacing other classes? LOLurdoinitwrong.
1. what is paralysis do?
2. What kind of damage can be reduced by dreadspike, is it all kind of damage?
3. I found vorpal thrust usually miss, is it by nature of LNC post 1.21?
Aion Zwei - Masamune

1. Can interrupt spellcasting and actions that need to be readied (when you see the enemy charging)
2. Dreadspike sucks.
3. Vorpal Thrust has no accuracy issues, Impulse Drive does. We get to use Feint > Disembowel instead when that happens.
