Why use a Dragoon or Monk when you can use a Warrior?

    Honestly, I don't see a reason to.

Monks may be worth a spot on one or maybe two encounters due to their higher dps. I wouldn't bring a Dragoon over a Warrior ever. In the grand scheme, Warriors are simply much better all around than either of the other two melee jobs. Most of the setups in my LS and outside are either range stacked or Warrior stacked. The best tank job is also the best all-around melee job. Their damage, their AoE damage, and their survivability in combination makes Warriors the best choice in most cases. I understand they are making some changes for Paladins, but how about for Dragoons and Monks?

I don't want to talk about range v. melee, just simply melee v. melee in this thread.

Dragoon has 2 AOE abilities, an aoe stun, lower enmity to dps ratio, the ability to GTFO combat in an instant etc...

Monk has much higher single target dps, higher accuracy, faster TP generation, movement speed increase for chasing monsters etc..

Warriors have plenty of AoE, AoE stun, and who cares if they get hate because they can unquestionably tank. Where is Dragoons niche? The ability to run away?

Been using monk and dragoon for these regional battle leve achievments they added, they are both really fun to play and do epic dmg if played right, very fun to solo with.

Warrior is a tank by offensive presence. If its not doing high damage I think there is a problem. I've played with a multi-WAR party and guess what? For the healer it sucks so hard. enmity flies all over because offense is primarily what draws enmity and what WAR in their right mind is going to down their damage output?

Their are multiple ways to deal damage and you have to be aware of the constraints that come with them.

Why would any of this matter anyways? Why does this thread SEEM to be an "Elitist" thread? OH, Warrior is better than anything else, so EVERYONE should use Warrior? Dragoon makes me happy inside whenever I play on it.. Not Warrior. Yes Warrior has alot of Good Qualities about it.. But I will ALWAYS use Dragoon over Warrior anyday. Just saying :/.
