The challenge of this game is, and continues to be: playing with the general public. And unfortunately the response to this challenge is usually vote-kick or rage!quit, instead of stepping up.

You say you want branching dungeons, crowd control, ADVENTURE. Do you have full map completion for your ARR dungeons (Sastasha, Dzemael)? If you do, kudos, but a lot of players don't because the majority of players take whatever shortcuts they can for efficiency and very few care about 'exploring' or 'challenge'. Its just about clearing as fast as possible and you can see it in pretty much all instanced content: from dungeons to trials to PotD/HoH to Raids.

The reason why this isn't already incorporated is because in the end, its what no one wants. The magic wears off fast and content becomes either a chore or faceroll. What you should be asking is for the community to stop and smell the roses. To appreciate the twists and turns, to explore the edges of the map and all I can say to this is... Good luck.
