The way the system is set up now, is that there's two sets of skills: Quality and Progress. Muscle Memory and Reflect both do essentially the same thing: Give you a large boost to Progress and Quality respectively but can only be used on the first action.

Dude, trust me, it's way easier to make sense of now, if you just think about it a little.

It's... really not hard to understand. If a complete newbie to crafting can understand it, it can't be that hard. Just forget about what you learned, put all your buttons on the bar and just think about what the game is telling you and grab some cheap materials to experiment with. That's what I did.

EDIT: I found out later, that if you have at least 50% HQ chance... it's probably better/easier to start with Muscle Memory rather than Reflect because getting 100% HQ is .... easy if you're starting from 50%+.

EDIT2: The game doesn't tell you this, but it is sort of implied, that Reflect replaces Inner Quiet (it gives you Inner Quiet when you use it), assuming you do not use Muscle Memory instead. It's implied, because Reflect's tooltip says "Gives 2 stacks of inner quiet" but it's only usable on the first action, which means you couldn't possibly use Inner Quiet first, so obviously, Reflect has to also grant Inner Quiet (which you can see from the video it actually does).
