New Patch Thoughts?

- Giving Land: Huge boost to crystal gathering. If you hit the +1 attempt node you will usually see 100-150 crystals, shards (dunno about clusters yet) from a use.

- Sneak: Takes all the misery out of basic gathering. Going to get Lignum Vitae or Dwarf Cotton now, is much less a crawl on your belly feeling.
- No hidden materials: I had most everything unlocked anyway so I can't speak on this


All in all this has had a bigger impact on me for crafting than any of the crafting changes. Getting items to white scrip farm is just a case of go do it. Not the dog and pony show it used to be. Before 5.1 Gathering was something you did after you unlocked flying in a zone. Now it's fluid with map exploration.

I got 171 clusters from one node today. It was a beautiful thing.

I love what they did with gathering. Lots of QoL stuff with auto gather, more crystals/clusters, and not having to uncover a node let's you actually make use of Deep Vigor/Brunt Force. Plus it nets you an extra collectible which is good because I need another 8000 white gathering scrips to complete my crafting tools.

The new patch is nice and all but I feel the giving land would be better used if it wasn't on a 3 minute cooldown.
Another thing is how they switch up the crystal and cluster output of aethereal reduction, where I'll be getting 52 clusters and 18 crystals instead of the other way around when I could really use the 52 in crystals than clusters per reduction.
