Looking for info as a new player

Hoping someone here wouldnt mind answering a few questions from a nub .

Im trying to figure out how the armory system works and im hoping theres a list somewhere of optimal abilites for melee jobs and mage jobs to have.

So far ive found out that melee jobs needs invigorate, sentinel, and second wind. Havent found anything so far for caster jobs. Are there any other abilites that are good to have?

My suggestion would be to go to the class/job specific forums and read about the abilities others use based on there experience. There is alot of debate and discussion of the abilities and there pros and cons in those areas.
