    Stuck in the pillar of a Riviera Mansion Wall (Composite) Is this a known bug?

    As said in the title. I, and every single person in my FC gets stuck when leaving my fc house while it is equipped with the 'Riviera Mansion Wall (Composite)' upon exiting the building. I have swapped wall types for their convenience, but I would like to use this wall. It is my favorite exterior wall type.

    Does anyone else experience this when exiting a building using a wall of this type and is it a known issue? Has Square said anything about this?

    I tried to put in a bug report but apparently it was moved. Im pretty sure I followed the template as best I could, but it probably wasnt good enough, somehow. \o/ Id really like to see this get fixed.

    This is not my house, but a picture of the wall type in question.
    The location where players get stuck is here in red. When exiting the house you enter a loading screen. When the scene loads your character is inside the of the pillar and unable to move for several seconds. If you try to move, eventually collision seems to disable on either you or the pillar and you slip through.

    Wow this must be a very old bug, because that housing skin has been around since 2.0.

    What you could do to avoid getting stuck when you want to exit is just teleport to the house instead of using the door to get outside. It's not a fix but it's a way to get outside without appearing inside the pillar.

    They've changed something about the housing exit code with 5.0. I notice that if I log out inside a house, when I log back in my character is facing the door where it used to face away.

    What I'm saying is, this bug was possibly introduced at that time. It's possible the new exit code changed the position you're moved to, too.

    Jimmeh, you should probably post a proper full bug report on the bug report forum this one.

    Make sure you submit the character info and housing location info when submitting the bug report so they can just hop over to the location and test it for themselves. They're not going to hunt down info.

    I'd make the steps something like:
    1. Set the exterior wall fixture to Riviera Mansion Wall (Composite)
    2. Enter the house.
    3. Exit the house via the door. You will be placed inside the exterior fixture's column upon loading outside of the house.

    This was my report. I dont know what else I can say to improve my post to suit them. I changed my wall type since, so they cant use my house. My entire FC was having trouble with getting stuck so I couldnt leave it like that. They just need to "See" it for themselves. ANY house with this wall has a pillar no matter the location and it ends up having players "spawn" inside the pillar in front of the door if the wall type is the Riviera Mansion Wall (Composite). Thats all the information I can really provide..

    Which I understand, but they're extremely finicky about the bug reports. They want every detail that can possibly filled in to be filled in. Just put N/A near anything that's not applicable. I had read the report you posted earlier and the steps were a bit confusing. This should just be a matter of applying the problem exterior fixture and stepping into/out of the house via the door to replicate. Scrap the yard bits. Again make sure to include the character/location info even if you feel it isn't relevant. If it gets denied again, you could try contacting a GM in game to verify the bug and point them to the updated post so they can move it to the appropriate category.

    That pillar is really ugly in the middle like that. They could have put two small side pillars away from the front door to "hold" up the balcony instead.
