    Looks that way. It says the total cap is going away and you can level it on all crafters come patch day. It looks like they are encouraging it now.

    Why level on all of them anyway? If you need to desynth stuff, couldn't just use one craft to desynth everything? Or can you desynth only what you can repair?

    It's similar to repairing. Each item can only be desynthed with its corresponding crafting class.

    I kept my desynth mostly up to level, with 3 desynth levels at level 430+ but I only got those within the past year and the expansions bumps was a struggle for all 3 of those, not able to find cheap or quick gear to get past the expansion bumps.
