Press buttons and don't stand in bad. Do both of those things and you'll be on your way to being better than at least 50% of people who run savage (and I wish that was a joke)Nooooooo. Why. T.T it should've stayed hard. That stings so hard.
Why am I sad its nerfed? Because it was fun learning it. But since it's not actual hard content that matters it was bound to happen sooner or later. Hey it was my ultimate. Guess I should just get good and do the real hard stuff. I really need to get good. Anyone wanna be a teacher?
Make SCH great again! Seriously though, we just want our class to be fun and engaging again, not OP, is that too much to ask for?
You say that but my issue is trying to get above 11k on the dummies as monk and trying to understand mch. It just feels like I hit my limit. it's hard to explain being out of game. D:
Dummies aren't entirely representative of what you can do in a fight. Team buffs play a lot into your DPS, a point of it could also be your gear.

Which they brought back once. Why would they not? Plus, who is to say they won't bring back the mount in 2 weeks time. Even if it's unobtainable, why is it "I'm scared of" levels of upset when it could still be two weeks from now when we don't know. They could very well bring it back, and even if they don't they could bring back the Moogle event Mk. 3.
Yes, but why get i280 weapons you aren't going to use? And even then, I don't have one and I ran tons of that. The coven weapons are not worth your time. I have no clue why this matters so much. So what if you got one? You can't glamour them onto your weapons or anything, they're just wasting space in a retainer.
I did the math, after getting every item Jehantel has the 230 points you get from these are not needed. They are unnecessary to get every item in the game tied to achievements. If the achievement is gone, then it's gone, goodbye, sayonara. It doesn't matter. It's a footnote of the game. it's a little pat on the back for doing something. Achievement hunters will be sad, but a majority of people won't care. I am with the majority because I don't care.
And, might I ad, tons of people called for it to be deleted then. People were calling for it to be removed for weeks, not caring about any of what you said before this. Why should is suddenly matter now that it's gone for two weeks. Just wait two weeks to see what happens before we start jumping to conclusions here please.
Once more. It's a bloody achievement. It's a bloody thing you pop over your head. Something that people have the option to turn off of all players. Why does it matter? You say all these things but never explain why.The patch notes say the achievements will no longer be obtainable. End of sentence... I hope one of those rarely sighted mods comes along with a word of clarification and says "Sorry for the confusion folks, but rest assured Diadem is only gone temporarily and everything will still be available in 5.15 when Ishgardian Restoration is released!"
Oh trust me, there are people who will complain. I mean, most people would be overjoyed to hear Diadem is gone, but all of a sudden I'm seeing people who I thought didn't exist. Why do you care over a pat on the back and weapons that have no value in-game or in-appearance are gone? Why?Nobody will complain about the new diadem if it still offers some way to get the rewards I mentioned in my previous post. Even people who think it's worse than the previous Diadem will still have to admit that the old Diadem was dead whether they enjoyed it or not and needed reworked. Nobody complained like this the first time it was reworked precisely for this reason.
Also, nobody complained the first time because nobody cared the first time. Everybody was in agreement that it was the worst content in the game and was prime for removal. Hell, many people believed that "fixing" Diadem was impossible.
I'm not making another long-form response to another Diadem post. This sudden flipping over Coven weapons and achievements feels like it should be parodied in a Garry's Mod video.
I'm from 1 MS in the future.
The problem here is you and I are on two different sides of the coin. I'm pessimistically looking at the total removal of the content, you're optimistically assuming it will all be back with a new coat of paint in a couple weeks and/or all the rewards will still be obtainable. Really nothing else to say about it but "time will tell." For what it's worth, I hope you're right.Which they brought back once. Why would they not? The achievement tokens are not the point. The points are the point. And yes achievement hunters care, you don't. That doesn't mean it doesn't matter. Seeing as this and the crafting changes are the two most talked about things from the notes so far, I would say interest in it is slightly above lukewarm at the moment.I did the math, after getting every item Jehantel has the 230 points you get from these are not needed. They are unnecessary to get every item in the game tied to achievements. If the achievement is gone, then it's gone, goodbye, sayonara. It doesn't matter. Because I care? Why should anyone have to defend their interests in this game? I'm an achievement hunter, and I am a person who enjoys experiencing content at my own pace. Luckily I did get to experience most of what Diadem offered, so I'm in a better position than most. That doesn't mean I don't understand why this sudden decision is a problem. The entire gist of your responses has consistently been "I don't care, so I don't think you or anyone else should care."Why does it matter? You say all these things but never explain why.
But yeah, we'll see when it's actually released how the coin falls. I'm rooting for you.
They literally announced it in the live letter that the Diadem will be reopen for the Ishgard restauration content. The problem here is you and I are on two different sides of the coin. I'm pessimistically looking at the total removal of the content, you're optimistically assuming it will all be back with a new coat of paint in a couple weeks and/or all the rewards will still be obtainable.
Yes, which is why we all assumed there was nothing to worry about, and were looking forward to the new Diadem. Then the prelim path notes drop saying exploratory missions are being removed and the achievements will no longer be obtainable, which means the content behind it will be gone. Not changed. Gone. Here's the blurb from the notes so you can see how clear it is they are flat out removing the entire thing:
Exploratory missions have been removed.
The following adjustments have been made in accordance with the above:
Exploratory missions will no longer appear in the Timers window.
Exploratory missions will no longer appear as a duty in the Party Finder menu.
Achievements related to exploratory missions will no longer be obtainable.
Whatever the new Diadem is, it certainly looks like it will not let you obtain anything from the old Diadem ever again.
Yeah but they also wrote in the Patchnotes that: Achievements related to exploratory missions will no longer be obtainable.
Which makes it clear that the Notorious Monster Hunter title will be gone forever.
For achievement hunters who not had the chance to get that title it is just a punch in the guts.
Especially cause they announced the Garo Title and Mount removal months ago over and over again.
And this... mere 4 days.
For a game that has the most "Dev => Player communication about future plans" this is just sad.
The patch notes are not accurate for Apex Arrow, because it never hit for 500 potency at 20 Soul Gauge. 500 potency was the max the Soul Gauge would allow. The devs just corrected the tool tip and increased the potency by 5 for every 5 on the Soul Gauge.
