It means that we won’t have 24 man frontline matches anymore, not that if someone withdraws the match is cancelled.
This kinda makes me scratch my head, as the queue popping regardless was a QoL change that was made to stop the queue simulator shenanigans that used to happen when one person out of the 72 wasn't ready, and thus would often cause a cascading mess of queue fails. I hope this being reinstated means they fixed that little issue.
Oh man, crafting is basically Angry birds now
That's a rather random addition.New battle voices for player characters have been added.
Wow basically replaced entire crafting system with a new one. Looks easier for new crafters, but likely more difficult to craft high quality max level items. Seems reasonable to only have one crafter now if that is your choice. Alot of change to swallow in one patch yikes.
So, we get a fancy new crafting materials display:
Will we be able to craft from what we see, no matter where it's stored, or will we still have to find the stuff in retainer storage or chocobo bags and move it all back to our main bags before crafting?
I guess it speeds things up a bit, so I don't have to do a /itemsearch on each material to check off in https://ffxivcrafting.com/recipes

All leveling dungeons now have their own ilevel requirement now. No more dumb gear combinations like Ironworks gear in Doma Castle.
Changed nothing about SCH besides making Seraph last 2 seconds longer, but then also making her take 2 seconds until she can do anything. So??? What's the point of that?
Make SCH great again! Seriously though, we just want our class to be fun and engaging again, not OP, is that too much to ask for?
I laughed so hard when I read that. It was right after the Temperance change too;
"White Mage, your skill now applies instantly upon use!"
"Scholar, your skill now takes 2 seconds to do anything at all!"
SE Spaghetti code at its finest, I imagine. As if a 2 second delay is built into a skill...
