A) Please make people buy from stack of 99 apples, "x" apples they want, instead of making people post the same item over and over in different stack size from, 1,2, 5, or maybe 99

^ This would reduce the space for items that players want to sell in retainer


B) Add to Market Board, a = Need = Feature

We would set our retainer to buy something for x price we want, instead of camping the Market

For example I need 25 demimateria and I am willing to play 12k per one, right now on MB they are for 18k - instead of wait time, for undercuts, some one who want to sell right now, could directly sell it to me through MB

Your first suggestion was in 1.0. I don't know why SE removed that when they launched 2.0.

As for the matching what you want to pay with people willing to sell that through the MB the way you describe, I don't know that SE could do that without scrapping the MB as it is now.

You want a real QoL change? Make it so that money obtained beyond your retainer's gil cap doesn't vanish.

GW2 actually has both of these items

Buying partial stacks and having the option to place buy orders is fantastic. Would love to see that added to this game somehow.

Nope. People will find the way to manipulate prices like Trade Post barons do in GW2 and the market will become the same mess it is there. No, thanks. I much prefer FFXIV's way.

I agree with your suggestion, but you should remember that by doing so SE eventually reduce their earnings from the extra retainers players hire.

I mostly just want the buy order feature from GW2 and I would be OK with partial stack buying if it's something the seller can opt out of. For some items like leve items, having only a partial stack sell would hurt if you have to relist.

The way it is now just puts all the power in the hands of the sellers.

For some reason this suggestion has been made several times in the past and has always met with very strong disapproval from the community, even if it were only optional. People seem to be under the impression it would crash item prices.

I'd be all for it myself.

I can't tell you how many times I've spent more per item only because I didn't want a stack of 99. Often I only want 10 or just 1.

When I post items I do them in smaller stacks and they seem to sell faster anyways. I don't know why people still do full 99 stacks.
