And you flame me again. This isn't a matter of reading comprehension. I'm not "confused," nor am I putting anything in anyone's mouth.

For me the spawn window concept is the whole reason FFXI HNMs were flawed. I even offered a reasonable solution that encourages user activity (rather than requires that we busy ourselves to not be bored) but since you've gone into ignore mode you didn't notice. You will either respond to me with civility or not respond to me at all. Anything else would constitute hypocrisy since spawn windows are my primary issue with the system and you don't want to talk about it.

You're right that I hate the window system. I hate it because it's completely unfun. it overshadows the whole HNM experience of fighting the mob and getting the drop. Why can't we make it so doing something is part of making the HNM show up, rather than something we force ourselves to do so that the time spent waiting doesn't feel like a waste?
