Pretty sure I mentioned it a while back, but I completely agree. The way to make people do dungeon / HNM content, while still keeping crafters and crafted gear viable, is to make them drop materials that can be crafted into high-end gear. This way you are not simply farming darklight that replaces any crafted item, and the crafter is left with nothing to do.

Personally, I don't really care all that much and think too much of this game is focused on crafters to the point that they can't properly balance it and keep it fun / motivating for people, but if they can balance it I think it would be really cool.
