Yeah I generally only seen that happen after everyone who needs it gained it, since no sane linkshell leader would give up items like that to your level 1 white belt monk :3

This.
It was your own fault if you continued to stay with an LS that gives Black Belt's and Ridill's to those who couldn't even use it, over someone who needs it and could equip it right then. Fail LS is Fail LS.
You'd be surprised how far the favoritism of a shell leader would go back then. And it wasn't limited to HNMs.
So what? They shouldn't give us anything because some unlucky bastards got cheated out of a blackbelt item or somebody didn't get a ridill? This is exactly why the loot system in this game is stupid, a couple of people lost lots on stuff they wanted so now we can't have a lot system.
This "I can't have it so nobody else can have it" and "I can't handle it so I want a new system" crap has ruined everybody else's experience. Thanks for that...

Don't get me wrong though, this game needs to have loads of content that caters to casuals too. We would be fooling ourselves if we wanted only content that was directed solely at the hardcore crowd.
But you cannot leave your hardcore players without the gritty, competitive content that they want due to being afraid to hurt the casuals' feelings because the are going to be made because X-Item is out of their reach.

Lets keep this on topic guys...

I think an 8hr spawn with 15-30 minute pop time would allow for enough time zone rotation. If time constraints put you right in the middle of a certain NM's time, focus on something else for a week and one of the spawns is likely to be in your range.
I think the person who suggested having a force pop that you have to track down with clues had a good idea, but I think that should only be one of many type of spawns.
I think this topic is approaching critical mass where no one reads anything but first post and we get stuck in a repetitive cycle. Maybe original post should be edited to reflect the viewpoints laid out so far.
I agree. I am working on this, but its the middle of the work week, and I'm kind of a busy guy right now!I think an 8hr spawn with 15-30 minute pop time would allow for enough time zone rotation. I will do my best to compile the ideas input thus far, and make a more detailed first post

8 hour timed pops keep them barely rotating every day, pick a number that doesn't go so well into 24 hours, like 5 or 7 or something that goes into it more often like 3. And yes, i was complaining that instead of people who actually need the belt OUTSIDE YOUR OWN SHELL, could camp it for 7 years and never get it while people IN YOUR SHELL who will never level monk covet the items. That kind of bullcrap shouldn't exist. Hence my "do not want OP items" from HNM thoughts i wrote earlier.
I know, I know. They're not in you shell so they can go eff themselves, right?.... fail.
