Getting Mad About Hroth/Viera Headgear Again

I gave you the benefit of the doubt when it came to the difficulty of retrofitting old headgear. Fine.

I should've noticed barely any 5.0 headgear worked. But turned an ignorant eye. Sure.

But do not think we haven't noticed that Hroth and Viera aren't in that 5.1 gear preview picture for a reason.

How can you continue to sign-off on half-assing gear designs for races that were flagships for your expansion launch? Better yet, how can you sign-off on races that you couldn't/don't want to code for?

But... they outright announced that a lot of headgear wont work and that they might make the occassional piece available later. I dont understand why people are getting mad about this when they clearly told us what to expect: If you pick a Hrothgar or Viera you wont be able to use most headgear. I dont remember them saying that they'd make everything available with 5.1 or even at all...

With the special head-features the Hrothgar and Viera have, adjusting the headgear seems to be more complexe so they made the choice no-headgear instead of headgear friendlier, but less "special" heads - and anyone of us can make the choice wether we'd rather have all helmets for our character or play one of the new races.
Its something we all knew about before and getting mad about this actually being the truth and not just something Yoshi-P said as a joke or whatever people must have believed he was talking about there is a little bit surprising...

Because players basically grovelled for Viera to be the next race. Any other basically human race wouldn't need headgear redesigning. Now that Viera and Hrothgar are in the game, I can see why SE do not want to now make triple of each and every single piece of headgear, including new ones coming out.

Sorry the compromise does not meet your expectations. I'll take more content for all races than lost development time just to suit yours.

It's not like there's been a deep concern for clipping with hairstyles and weapons since this game's inception. Why get all aesthetically concerned now and restrict headgear that clips?? Just let all headgear work, and leave it up to the user if they want to deal with the clipping or not. Simple, done, all headgear available.

All I ask for is the RDM pimp hat for Vierra. That's all I want. That's basically ALL I wear (head gear) wise, other than glasses, bandanna's, eye patches and the occasional face mask where it applies.
