    I think they should just forbid new accounts from transferring gil via mail/trades if they want to hinder RMT because their accounts are never made to last.

    Even just a one week restriction on such would make things rather difficult for them.

    Not sure if anybody has said this yet, but, you'd have to prevent money transfer in and out of FCs as well, since a lot of bots use that for moving money around.
