Geomancer for healer/ not sure about the caster

I'd assume for a healer most likely Geomancer. There have been some pretty heavy hints (like in the AST storyline for SB) and WHM's nature/4element spells slowly shifting into more light based ones like Dia and Glare really make me think they'll put the focus on Geomancer.

That's an odd thing to say!
Which of ANY of our new jobs have ever been "needed"? The answer: None of them. They were added to appeal to players of the game. We started with two healers, two tanks, and five DPS, and that's already one DPS more than we "need".
No, healers will be added EXACTLY because of rabble-rabble. The "have a good idea" part may, admittedly, be a factor, as well, but there is no "need". (Or, rather there IS a need - healers want to try something new - and that need is the SOURCE of the rabble-rabble.)

And to everyone who\\\\'s like "UMM ACKCHUALLY GEOMANCER IS JUST THE EASTERN WHM/AST". No. Just because we fought alongside a geomancer in the AST quest who used WHM animations does not mean its the same thing. Thats like saying the Astrologians in Coerthas are the same thing as Sharlyan Astrologians. We literally have a series of Trials against Geomany users (Four Lords), and also fight some Geomancers in Swallows Compass, and if you\\\\'re trying to tell me they are the same as a WHM or an AST then I\\\\'d like some of what you\\\\'re taking



I want PUP too


I would love to see a new healer for the next round, but I can very easily see them citing balance issues again as a reason for not adding one, and leaving just the three we have for eternity. I can see a Rune Fencer happening if they do the inverse of the RDM style. Have most of its rotation be melee enchanted sword attacks and a short burst of magic attacks. Who knows what will happen, and its a little less than two years away so plenty of time for speculation.


I'll just go with the usual Healer/DPS combo for the expansion with the possibility of a new limited job (Beastmaster or Pup) before then.
