Wanna Tank, but I have one concern...

What are tank queues like, in general? Like 1 through 80. I know healers have negative 2 second queues, but are tanks bad in that department?

I don't really know how something can have 'negative 2 second' queues, but tank queues have always been faster, and after the whining at the beginning of 5.0 about healers, it balanced back out for tanks to have the quickest.

People fear tanking for a number of reasons, so there's less, meaning you get in faster.

In my experience, right now, tanks have slower queues than healers, but not by a lot. Healers are still instant for me, with tanks being about 2 minutes.

I found healers to be in need for about 2 weeks after launch, thanks to the changes to healing and a new tank, but then people remembered they were scared of tanking and went back to doing whatever they did before. I wouldn't say the tank queue has ever been slow.

Not slow, just in my experience not as quick as they used to be. 1 and a half-2 minutes isn't a long wait by any means, but it is longer than the healer queues I've gotten which have always been instant so far this expac, even as far as 2 days ago when every roulette had tank in need (tried on my GNB and had a queue time for each one, canceled, swapped to SCH, instant queue). Could be the data center, or could be adventurer in needs is poopy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I typically get more than under 5 minute tank queues for roulettes if I select them when a tank is in need, but sometimes queues can go as high as 15 minutes if you get the short end of the stick.

Even if a healer is in need, the queue will still be under 5 minutes because sometimes the role in need status can be weird, with tanks being in need with a 15 minute wait time, but that’s few and far between

Oof yeah 15 minutes sucks. But I can't really resign myself to only healing in a game with so many classes just for fast queues. Just gonna have to get better at waiting

I was very deliberate with my words, I mentioned that I typically get queues under 5 minutes, citing that these are the norm. I also later mentioned that these 15 queues are few and far between, you don’t encounter them often.
