The class least likely to be added?

I hear about people hoping for the Puppeteer, Beast Master, and Geomancer all the time. I'm personally hoping for the Onion Knight, but I'm curious to know what people think the class we're least likely to see is. At first, I thought it was the Onion Knight, but then I realized there's one even better: Mime.

I can't even begin to fathom how they would implement the Mime into an MMORPG and still retain its identity. Onion Knight is a close second, as their whole gimmick is being weak until max level, at which point they become the strongest class in the game. That sounds like a balancing nightmare, unless SE makes it a limited job.

Onion Knight could be a Limited Job like Blue Mage, just rather than learning spells from monsters, you learn skill by leveling all the other Jobs in the game.

Mime, similarly, could be a Limited Job. Depends how they're going to work future ones (whether they have the same learning gimmick or not), but all it needs is a "Copy" skill that you use on party members to copy their last skill. I do doubt they'd ever bother with that though, Limited Jobs are meant to be fairly OP and non-party focused, if Masked Carnival is anything to go off, not sure how a Mime version of that would work... Hope we see Gogo some day in XIV though...

Honestly any Job could simply be a Limited Job at this point, but I'd have to say Beserker is probably the least likely to ever be added. A Job which sole function was that it automatically attacked and did nothing else? Yeah that wont even be considered for a MMO, even if it could technically be a workable Limited Job... Much more likely they just rolled it into Warrior at this point. Similar deal with something like Time Mage, time magic would be hard (though not impossible) to implement in a MMO, and once upon a time I'd say Astrologian had a few core Time Mage aspects, but those were gutted recently...

I suppose a copy skill could work, though it sound rather hectic. I was thinking more along the lines of the Mime's implementation in FFT. At any rate, I know the limited job route is possible for all classes, but I was wondering how they would add these classes into normal content. I suppose I should have made that more clear, but that's why I mentioned the Onion Knight being a balancing nightmare unless SE made it limited.

I'd say this concept would precisely be more fitting to a Mime. In FFVI, Gogo worked the same way. On top of having the Mime skill, you could set up its battle UI with any skill your other character had.
It would be interesting to have a set number of combo slots, ability slots and spell slot, and fully customize them.

The good part about that would be that eveyone would completely understand how such a job could literraly be impossible to balance and thus, was kept a limited job

I don't think they had to do this for Final Fantasy V

Y: I usually compare FFXIV with a theme park, but the Forbidden Land of Eureka won’t be a place where everyone would want to go. For example, there are people who don’t want to go to horror houses because they don’t see the point in getting scared on purpose. For example, on a date, the boyfriend might want to invite the girlfriend to go the horror house, but the girlfriend just doesn’t seem to find it fun. In other words, it’s not like everyone wants to go to the horror house, but there are people who just love the adrenalin rush they get from it. Think of Eureka as something like that.

Well since this is a gba version onwards exclusive i've been looking for sales/marketing on that and for gba i've come up near empty with this being the only possible they may have sold to China,

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o..._Advance_games
PAL - PAL/SECAM territories, most of Europe, Australia, and parts of Asia.
Final Fantasy V Advance N/A 2006 TOSE Square Enix (Japan), Nintendo (overseas) NA, PAL, JP

Did they sell/market it to China(i've come up empty so someone else may find it) or did they only sell it to EU/Australia which is put under the same bracket

For steam port again i've come up empty with this being the only indicator(besides lack of information) that ffv hasn't been marketed to China

As far as i can see the only game with Necromancer in the final fantasy series has not been marketed to China at all, FFXIV does though, remember that outfit that went up on the mogstation that caused a little controversy and SE had to make an apology and rename it on the Chinese/Korean mogstation.

Besides everything Necromancer in the series is just a different Blue Mage except rather than using the skill the Necromancer has to be the one to kill it, so either a completely different feel to how the job has been in the past ala red mage or be made a limited job, pick your poison.

    Death Knight.

Because that's a WoW class and this is not WoW and we already have Dark Knight. :P

Necromancer purely because they would have to redesign the job entirely different for Japan/EU/NA version and the Chinese/Korean version due to beliefs.

Or they could use a design that is okay for all regions?

I'm unfamiliar with classes from prior versions of Final Fantasy but I think the least likely job would be another healer. I just can't see how you could fit a new one in.
