I know there is a “theif” class for ninja, but I would have loved for it to be a job too. With mixing items to do various aoe/single target actions, like Rikku from X.

A real arithmetician

Viking because it is basically rolled into warrior

Ditto Berserker on that note.
Also when it comes to there highly requested jobs...
Time Mage = Astro
Geomancer = Conjurer
Beastmaster and Puppetmaster also I would say are highly unlikely considering what a flop Blue Mage has been, and they explicitly stated those two jobs as contenders for additional limited jobs for this game. Also they're not very iconic to the series. I only know of Beastmaster being a job in FFV MAYBE Realm if you get her False Mustache relic and have never played a Final Fantasy title with Puppetmaster... unless you really stretch it to consider Lulu one.
Conversely to a previous comment, I do think that we can have Chemist as it's a healing job that won't be immediately like the other three. Though just how they'd implement it is anyone's guess, especially with TP gone. Before I had suspected that would be one of the ways it would be different from the others, using TP instead of MP.
Why would Puppet Master be limited? Beast Master I could understand, but it seems like they can just take the Summoner as a base and work from there with the Puppet Master.Ditto Berserker on that note.

Because Square a hates pet jobs. Also they mentioned it in a list of unlikely to be non-limited jobs.
That being said, if we're talking ACTUAL JOBS and not LIMITED JOBS I'm always wrong on jobs they'll not add (0/2 for RDM and DNC not working, although not sure if I'd count dancer since I said it wouldn't work as a healer... 2/2 with Samurai and Gunbreaker), probably Geomancer or most jobs from X-2 that aren't in the game or just variants with different names (Blue Gunner, Songstress come to mind). I'm on the fence on Chemist. 1. it'd probably be renamed because Alchemist is a thing and the names would be confusing and 2. it doesn't feel like it'd work aesthetically with FFXIV and it fits better with FFT aesthetically.

Just going off what they said when they announced Blue Mage. They named both of those jobs as potential future limited jobs.
But also as was stated, they've had a notoriously hard time balancing pet jobs in this game.
Blue Mage.

Chemist.
All healers are casters and the role gear and role skills are catered to caster jobs. A non caster healer will not happen. And as a DD it would be too similar to Machinist.
Plumber, because of the lack of toilets.
