2 MINUTES???

WoW had an interesting glitch that let you pause dungeon queues. You could sign up for a proving ground run (Practice session with NPC's that used the queue mechanism, but was instant) When you did this, it saved your position in the regular queue, but wouldn't let it complete. You could use this to go AFK for a bit without penalty. I'm wondering if there's something similar here that hasn't been discovered yet.

I'd have vote dismissed you for afk after 30 seconds.
It's not some rando 123 dungeon where you can't lose and the only drama is the group taking a minute longer than fastest.

I've had respawn timers in pvp go longer than 30 seconds before.

Check out the person ignorant of party status here, I can see your HP status in group information.
(Besides, if you have a 30+ second respawn timer that means you've already died 6+ times so you probably weren't helping much anyway)

I try really hard to help, but I really suck at pvp so dieing 6 times would not be a surprise for me...

Not sure when, but yeah, some people would join to get XP (or tomes/flavor of the month) and just park their character someplace. I know a couple of years ago there was an XP boost for a while to some game mode in PvP (Frontlines? Or the 8-Player teams in Feast Training matches?) -> queues became super short but there were more idlers. Haven't seen it as much for the Moogle event, just one comes to mind from my runs.

OP, you deciding to go AFK, mid-match, royally screws over your team in a PvP match. The auto-kick was absolutely justified. If anything, the auto-kick should come quicker.
