    SE Change what a Limited Job is.

    Limited Jobs?

    so this has been bothering me ever since we were hinted about it before SHB -- and then ever more ever since BLUE MAGE was tainted with this "fun-killer mark", and honestly this has got me scared for the future of limited jobs.

    Limited job -- essentially a title SE gave blue mage and hopefully NOT any future jobs that keeps them from accessing any recent content, basically cutting nearly half the game out of its reach.

    but before I begin to rant i wanna make this short.
    Limited Jobs should be changed in the way they are "limited". Simply put , here are the changes Im suggesting.


    -Level cap -- get rid of it; there is literally zero reason for a level cap existing on a class that isnt even allowed to que up for dngs to begin with, and even that is stupid. Limited jobs just as any should have the ability to so much as go into current level locations and battle some mobs without getting ONE SHOTTED because they are 20+ Level UNDER everyone else for NO sensible reason.

    -DNG restriction -- get rid of it; If you must force BLU to cue up into DNGS as a DPS if you must, there is no reason for a dng restriction when an "official" class can literally just TILT themselves and cause all the same problems as a BLU would. If your worried BLU would be too OP, then just change their potentiates like you would any other class. If your worried that BLU players would simply not do their jobs just because, then you guys have already made an answer to that problem. (the KICK VOTE)

    -Quest and story line restriction -- get rid of it: same point to be made as the level cap -- there is no reason to cap their ability to go through the story.

    -Raids and Ex raids or trials -- Now , in defense of SE, this one of the areas i can say [Blue mage does not yet belong here]. The raids (especially EX) seem to be carefully planned and tuned to where each of the chosen jobs and rolls need to be solid and effective in their duties -- everything needs to go in near-perfect harmony or the entire party could wipe -- and as of now BLU is too much of everything and too much of everywhere, with no defined duty to be a stable RAID class. Basically, every other class was pretty much MADE for end game raids, but BLU isnt, and seemingly any future classes that would fall into a sketchy spectrum.

    -minigames and odd-jobs -- im not complaining...but it just makes the situation worse when you try to replace the GAME with a MINI-GAME instead of just working on trying to give players the GAME.

    the way i see it would be that SE could apply these restrictions to any future [limited jobs], I guarantee you guys with 99% certainty, you would piss off a LOT less people.

    basically Limited job would be a Badge rather than a Title, something it has, rather than stuck with.
    Limited job would be just like any other regular job, only LIMITED by the fact that it cannot que into endgame trials or raids, other than that its normal (level cap and all).

    "The job is going to be too OP in dungeons!!!" < well, SE Potency changes many things, BLU is no different.
    "Well, blue players are just going to screw around and not do what their supposed to in all the trials and dungeons!!!" < Well, SE gave players the KICK VOTE button for a reason, why not use it eh?

    I actually wouldn't see a problem with the limitations if the level cap was 70 now, because even if you couldn't do ShB solo stuff, there are still a lot of valuable things to do at level 70 and 60, so I'd love if BLU could:
    - First of all, for this to work, BLU really needed to be overpowered as it was advertised, to be able to actually solo stuff;
    - Getting into Diadem and Eureka
    - Getting into PotD and HoH solo
    - Being able to complete map runs solo (level 70 mats and crafted items are even more expensive than level 80 atm)
    - Masked Carnivale having a pvp mode

    The real problem right now is that BLU "endgame" is really stale and unrewarding. If you experienced Masked Carnivale once, and you don't need Seals, there's little incentive to do its "puzzle fights" again and again.

    well, the problem with having the lv cap even being set to 70 is that -- no matter where everyone else is, as a blue mage you always be an entire leap behind. and thoes 10 lvs your missing is still the content of an ENTIRE EXPANSION. in perspective that means.
    - no dngs, even if you wanted to play in unsync with your FC youd still be pretty useless.
    - no map partys, ud be useless
    - going into any of the new worlds as a blue mage is a death sentence because most if not all of the mobs u can come into contact with might just 2 shot u.
    - NO tials, no raids (and most likely by this time all of the lv 70 raids are just about dead anyways, so good luck even finding somone to let a stranger tag along, let alone a blue mage.

    basicly blue mage is useless, primarily because of its nonsensical level cap, and inability to so much as hit the que buttion.
    whay do we even do with that? farm old content for gear that we may or may not want, and most likley dont need.

    > Its the equivalent of Mom and Dad giving all of your 12 brothers and sisters their very own, individual Nintendo Switches for Christmas EACH, with Smash bros 4 -- and then they turn to you and hand you a Wii with Smash bros brawl on it and tell you to be happy with it -- ignoring your warnings as you tell them that not only the Wii games and network are outdated, but the controls and mini games that are left on its hardware are boring and barley functional....but they just smile, pat your head and keep walking.

    Diadem has been removed from the game currently.. with plans to return it for DoLs only
