It's why queue's for this content are usually stuck looking for a tank or healer. It's just the nature of MMO's.
What I got out of this is “tanks and healers are expected to know what they’re doing, it’s okay for dps to slack off, and tanks/healers should carry the dps”. Dps have no responsibility or impact in dungeons? They sure do. Their responsibility is exactly what their role name means, to do damage. If they don’t do that, they slow down a run quite considerably.

Ive had plenty of dps impact my runs. Like when I get trapped in something as a healer, and the only way the get out is if the dps kill the trap I’m in. I have died so many times to mechanics like that, because the dps couldn’t bother to do a proper rotation and don’t kill it in time. Then the party wipes. It is not the responsibility of tanks and healers to carry lazy dps. It’s not our job to do the dps’ jobs. It’s so messed up to expect even more out of tanks and healers, and not have any expectations for dps. Everyone should be expected to carry their weight, and it’s totally unfair to put everything on everyone else but the dps.

It really is a shame that there's no way for casual players to enjoy the story without dealing with people like you, and vice versa.
Just to adress this point here: A "casual" player can absolutly use Trusts to play through the story. Trusts are completly capable of clearing a dungeon with you, but they wont clear it for you. Its an option for solo-play, for people who dont want to play with others or might be afraid to do so. But its not an option for who someones who doesnt know what they're doing and who doesnt care to change that.
Since they're designed for 4 people they arent as much as a pushover as the solo-duties we get on occassion, but even those already require you to know what you're doing - just apply the same thing to dungeons wether you run them with or without Trusts.

Trusts can be very much a "casual options" since you can take as long as you want within the 90 minute timelimit - they're not an auto-clear though and they might take quite a bit longer than doing the same content with a DF-group. But for someone whos only playing for fun it shouldnt really matter that they might take 50 instead of 15 minutes, that they wipe a couple of times or probably have to re-try the whole thing... right? They're just playing for fun, after all.
