    question about MCH

so i am starting to learn MCH and it it a very enjoyable class but i do have a few question about it :

    1. does the turret auto override itself once it disappear or you have to activate the skill to make it override?

    2. is it better to summon the turret twice? seem it cost 50 gauges to summon it, which mean you can override the turret twice or is it better to summon the turret at 100 for longer duration but it only override once.

    thank you for any advise!!

    1) It uses Overdrive automatically at the end.

I main MCH, and I can count the number of times I've manually triggered Overdrive on one hand. You should only ever find yourself manually using Overdrive if...
    - The target is going to die before your duration is up and there are no other targets.
    - You're 1~3 seconds before the duration is up and you're about to lose some potent buff(s).
    - The target is about to disappear or go invulnerable for a period of time.

You can actually find evidence of this on the tooltip on Overdrive itself (though it's on the action the turret uses, so it's the one you can't set on your hotbar, but you can see it in the action list):

    Rook Overload
Delivers an attack with a potency of 400.
Potency increases as Battery Gauge exceeds required cost at time of deployment.
The rook autoturret shuts down after execution. If this action is not used manually while the rook autoturret is active, it will be triggered automatically immediately before shutting down.

    2) It will do the same amount of damage per battery spent. Two summons at 50 versus one summon at 100 will do exactly the same amount of damage.

I haven't personally done the math, but that's what I've read from people smarter than me. So, with that being the case, the best time to use your turret is when you have buffs on. If there are no buffs available, then use it whenever is convenient for you.

    1. It uses its finishing move automatically as long as its duration isn't cut short.

    2. With the Automaton Queen it doesn't matter, since it has a constant potency per battery spent. Use it when it lines up with buffs or won't be cut off early by a break in the fight mechanics. The autoturret has a bit of extra complexity to it, however, since it can sometimes get an extra attack in depending on ping and timing. At 60, 80, and 100 gauge it always gives a consistent potency per battery spent. When used at 50, 70, or 90 gauge, however, the number of attacks can vary by one, so the potency per battery spent will be slightly lower or higher than at 60/80/100. E.g. at 60/80/100 battery you get 8 potency per battery spent, but at 50 battery you can get either 7.2 or 8.8 potency per battery spent depending on whether it gets 2 or 3 attacks out. This doesn't really change anything in terms of gameplay since lining it up with buffs and avoiding cutting it short with boss jumps has a greater impact than trying to time it correctly and hope ping is on your side. That said, I personally tend to only use it at 60/80/100 if I can when synced below 80 just for the consistent potency.
