This isn't a dig or me being passive agressive, I'm not saying you should buy an apartment instead of a house, I'm genuinely curious.
As mentioned, garden decoration and cross-breeding plants. Also, bigger space for those who like decorating (I'm working on my apartment until the new wards release and my FC can get a place, and it is very...cosy).

FC specific, but the Workshops are not available via apartments, only in houses, so to make Aether Wheels, go on Exploration Missions, etc. the house is a pre-requisite.
