Repelling Shot is a joke now

With melee skills and abilities being increased to having a ridiculous range in PvP now, it made Repelling Shot absolutely trash now. This ability was once meant to be used as a defense mechanism, yet when it’s used now, melee can still continue to hit you anyway. It either needs to have its bind ability added back to it, or make it a 15 yalm backstep while adding a heavy effect to the enemy.

It has been like that for two patches and i agree it's kinda just there to create distance. I made a thread about brd myself months back and i recommended they should add two charges to it or re-add the bind effect from 4.X since they didn't consider repelling shot when they gave specific jobs more gap closers.
