    end of 24pl frontline


    Can someone explain for me any good point of this adjustment?
    Maybe something wrong with me and my frenemies and everyone in this game enjoying 72 pl frontlines?
    Aint this will be same situation when you cant have game if its not 4h of primetime like how RW works right now,cuz from 2am-3pm window there is only 24 games even with garo event,how bad queue will be after event is gone...
    btw this is not complains from premades

    It's not anything good.
    The fact that 8 person parties are no longer allowed to que up "AND" the removal of 24s, along with Garo ending PVP benefits for the majority is going to essentially kill PVP entirely.

    This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen.
    If they wanted to save PVP after garo is removed they needed to make it ONLY 24s, not remove them
    RIP PVP.
    Will be as dead as rival wings is, new map will have a que for 1-3 weeks at best.

    Bravo SE for listening to a loud VERY small minority instead of long term players who do more then 3/4 matches then never try pvp again. Idiots

    I can't see any benefit or reason for this change.

    Some people have said they don't enjoy 24 man, but the only reason 24 man pops is because not enough people join in a certain timeframe.
    I can only imagine that this will make it near impossible to frontline PVP outside of peak hours, so good luck to those with odd working hours.

    The only thing the new map has going for it is that it's frontline and not rival wing, so it will see some play through the roulette. If not for that, it would be as dead as rival wings in a few weeks after launch.

    JP players must be on suicide watch lmao, the one audience you actually care about SE you just threw a giant heap of manure in their faces.

    Also I only like 24man so guess after this event I ain't playing that dogheap mode again lol.

    Not having it be 24 man is absolutely killing people who q in the morning. There's no way in hell 72 people are going to be running FL at 8 AM EST. That's ridiculous.

    I'm hoping this is a change the fix immediately. They've made some they've changed pretty quickly like when they went greed only for 24 man raids.

    The only other way to make up for this is to allow for new frequent rewards to be earned through PVP Wolf Marks (with no major droughts) or do a brand new event to replace Garo to keep the queues alive.

    Glad it's gone. Definitely rather not have queued at all than to be hurled into a map with 24 players for maps designed for three times as many people. It's lifeless, desolate and barren. Feels awful and am not surprised at all when people just dodge out of 8v8v8 when they get it. If queue times for frontlines are bad I rather people just queue for The Feast, something designed for fewer players. If they are at all successful with PvP improvements I think FL will still see reasonable queue times at prime time even in Japan, especially when they regularly saturate the game with campaigns to get people to try it.


    Edit - As an addendum to this, I would have been OK with 24 player FL if we somehow got like miniature versions of the battlegrounds that were, at the most, half the size of their regular one. Also the way objectives scale to size doesn't work at all. Ice for example takes forever to destroy and it's the least interactive moment of the match. If they wanted to keep it they would need to change map topography, map mechanics, probably change the PvP melee DR/damage bonus, and just about everything. Better yet why not put that effort into fixing RW and giving it a roulette since it was a nice middleground in terms of numbers required.

    What, really? Wow. 72-man FLs are just a complete zerg fest. The 24-mans at least inspired people to try to think tactically. Can't imagine how queues are going to look after either.

    I'd like the Devs to try something, a wild idea, but stick with me...

    Stop removing content from PvP. So far we've lost what;

    48 player Frontlines.
    8v8 Feast.
    Slaughter Frontlines.
    Feasting Grounds map.
    Lichenweed map.
    Technically a Crystal Tower map (the circle one).
    Astralagos Rival Wings.
    24 player Frontlines.

    One wonders why you even bother making an entirely new map, you'll probably just delete it in 7.1... Oh wait, it'll be dead by 5.3 because limiting us to only 72 player Frontlines will absolutely kill queues... When people asked to have Heavensward PvP back, I don't think they meant the queue times... Just fire the PvP dev, I'm pretty sure we'd be better off with 0 adjustments going forward, than this constant removal of content... But I guess JP has no issues with queue pops, so NA/EU can just deal with it... Even with Garo/Treasure Trove hype, we still get 24 player Frontlines, once those events are gone it's over for Frontlines if it requires 72 players for every match... The moment people start seeing long enough queues to get put off, it snowballs; if people stop queuing because of long queues, queues get longer, more people stop queuing. Removing 24 player Frontlines is such an idiotic change... Delete 72 and bring back 48, at least then Frontlines is as viable as Rival Wings.

    You wont be by next year. The 24 player version served a very important function, literally the whole reason we had varied sizes for Frontlines in the first place was to encourage people to play. If you only have 72 player mode, it wont pop without 72 players (duh).
