Talked about this last night, and most people I have talked to have pointed out the issues that arise from Content Finder systems. The number one issue is players, not having a connection to the other players, aren't very nice, or a ninja looters, etc.

Anyway, I for one am excited about this system, I enjoyed in WAR being able to queue up for different content, and having a system like that in place here would be very exciting. Now, I did put some thought into the loot issue with parties that enter into Content Finder parties for different events.

While their are pros and cons to every system, I think the best thing to do is take loot management away from the players in these situations. Instead, have all items enter a global pool, and as players play, they rack up credits to bid on the different items. Regardless of the leader, once the event is completed, players can see the loot list, and bid on items. Once all credits have been spent, items are rewarded, and any remaining un-bid items are randomly assigned. Also, if players don't bid, or spend their credits, there would be a time limit, any unspent credits, would be erased, as they would only exist for this period.

The question then comes, how would the currency for loot be generated? This is where the balance would come into play, as you wouldn't want to make it unfair for x job. But by, dealing damage, taking damage, healing, buffing, debuffing, etc all types would give you credits, perhaps the best way to calculate would be to reward a bonus for focusing on your role... WTM gets more credits for cure, vs stone, Tank gets more credits for damage, and enmity, then for dealing damage, etc.

Anyway, just a thought regarding loot...

The only thing I would add is a way to rate players up or down, that way if there is a bad player, they end up having a global rep. Being able to see players reps would be a plus as well.

Anyway, keep up the great work,
