So, I got this message and got kicked out of NN... problem is, I want to stay in NN and apparently mentors can't invite me back in? I still have questions about the game and I enjoyed the chat.

TBH, NN was one of the things I enjoyed about this game. I'd really hate to lose it, is there no way to get back in?

You would need to become a mentor yourself to rejoin the network as one instead of a sprout.

However the quicker option if you're just starting the game would be aiming to be a Trade mentor. Which I believe is just getting one DoH and DoL job to 80, much more doable then the increased 1500 commendations for new players.

Since you've got over 168 hours of playtime and have cleared all but the most recent expansion, the game no longer considers you a novice and has removed you from the chat to make room for new players who need mentors' help and attention more than you do. My suggestion to you would be to reach out to a few of your favorite mentors and ask if they have some FCs or LSes you can join who wouldn't mind answering any remaining questions you may have.

Yes, we know there aren't so many novices still in NN that your removal was necessary, but there has to be a rule to remove people or it would get very cluttered, and you've found the limits SE put in place.

The only way to get back in after you're done being a sprout is to become a mentor. Either that or make a new character to talk in nn.

If you can deal with splitting up when you're in a chatty mood or have specific questions you want to ask from when you're in the mood to focus on progressing your main character, you could get at least part-time access to the Novice Network back by just making a new alt character. The "New Adventurer" status is character specific, so even as you advance your main through Shadowbringers, your new alt could still qualify for NN.

It's far from ideal. Having to switch characters to reach your favorite chat channel means you can't be in it while you're waiting on a DF queue on your main, for instance, but maybe part time access would help tide you over until you can qualify to re-join as a mentor. Becoming a mentor is the better long term solution; it just takes quite a while to qualify for it.
