My issue appears to be identical to that described in this other forum thread: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-key-acting-up

However, as that thread was closed due to suggestion of posting in these forums instead, no actual solution was posted. I tried searching these forums for "alt key" but returned no results. My mouse is a Logitech M500 USB Mouse. As stated in the linked post, when using my mouse's thumb button, rebound to Alt through the use of a third-party program called Mouse Manager, roughly 10% of the times I use that button in an attempt to use an ability bound to Alt+<something>, my computer continues to register the Alt key being pressed until I press the button again. I have unbound all other Alt-hotkeys in the game to somewhat mitigate the problem, but I still frequently find myself in the alt-tab menu and activating alt-hotkeys when I want to use non-alt-hotkeys. I have not been able to discern any sort of pattern as to when the key "sticks" or does not. I have confirmed that Sticky Keys and its keyboard shortcut are both disabled.

Know when used windows 7 playing ffxiv it had bug where it start targeting anything close by and keep moving to next target. Only way to stop it was control alt delete. Didn't matter what brand keyboard used kept doing it.
